Hedge Fund Manager: Goodbye and Fuck You

Hedge Fund Manager: Goodbye and Fuck You

LAHDE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
October 17, 2008

PDF here

Today I write not to gloat. Given the pain that nearly everyone is experiencing, that would be entirely inappropriate. Nor am I writing to make further predictions, as most of my forecasts in previous letters have unfolded or are in the process of unfolding. Instead, I am writing to say goodbye.

Recently, on the front page of Section C of the Wall Street Journal, a hedge fund manager who was also closing up shop (a $300 million fund), was quoted as saying, "What I have learned about the hedge fund business is that I hate it." I could not agree more with that statement. I was in this game for the money. The low hanging fruit, i.e. idiots whose parents paid for prep school, Yale, and then the Harvard MBA, was there for the taking. These people who were (often) truly not worthy of the education they received (or supposedly received) rose to the top of companies such as AIG, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers and all levels of our government. All of this behavior supporting the Aristocracy, only ended up making it easier for me to find people stupid enough to take the other side of my trades. God bless America.

There are far too many people for me to sincerely thank for my success. However, I do not want to sound like a Hollywood actor accepting an award. The money was reward enough. Furthermore, the endless list those deserving thanks know who they are.

I will no longer manage money for other people or institutions. I have enough of my own wealth to manage. Some people, who think they have arrived at a reasonable estimate of my net worth, might be surprised that I would call it quits with such a small war chest. That is fine; I am content with my rewards. Moreover, I will let others try to amass nine, ten or eleven figure net worths. Meanwhile, their lives suck. Appointments back to back, booked solid for the next three months, they look forward to their two week vacation in January during which they will likely be glued to their Blackberries or other such devices. What is the point? They will all be forgotten in fifty years anyway. Steve Balmer, Steven Cohen, and Larry Ellison will all be forgotten. I do not understand the legacy thing. Nearly everyone will be forgotten. Give up on leaving your mark. Throw the Blackberry away and enjoy life.

So this is it. With all due respect, I am dropping out. Please do not expect any type of reply to emails or voicemails within normal time frames or at all. Andy Springer and his company will be handling the dissolution of the fund. And don't worry about my employees, they were always employed by Mr. Springer's company and only one (who has been well-rewarded) will lose his job.

I have no interest in any deals in which anyone would like me to participate. I truly do not have a strong opinion about any market right now, other than to say that things will continue to get worse for some time, probably years. I am content sitting on the sidelines and waiting. After all, sitting and waiting is how we made money from the subprime debacle. I now have time to repair my health, which was destroyed by the stress I layered onto myself over the past two years, as well as my entire life – where I had to compete for spaces in universities and graduate schools, jobs and assets under management – with those who had all the advantages (rich parents) that I did not. May meritocracy be part of a new form of government, which needs to be established.

On the issue of the U.S. Government, I would like to make a modest proposal. First, I point out the obvious flaws, whereby legislation was repeatedly brought forth to Congress over the past eight years, which would have reigned in the predatory lending practices of now mostly defunct institutions. These institutions regularly filled the coffers of both parties in return for voting down all of this legislation designed to protect the common citizen. This is an outrage, yet no one seems to know or care about it. Since Thomas Jefferson and Adam Smith passed, I would argue that there has been a dearth of worthy philosophers in this country, at least ones focused on improving government. Capitalism worked for two hundred years, but times change, and systems become corrupt. George Soros, a man of staggering wealth, has stated that he would like to be remembered as a philosopher. My suggestion is that this great man start and sponsor a forum for great minds to come together to create a new system of government that truly represents the common man's interest, while at the same time creating rewards great enough to attract the best and brightest minds to serve in government roles without having to rely on corruption to further their interests or lifestyles. This forum could be similar to the one used to create the operating system, Linux, which competes with Microsoft's near monopoly. I believe there is an answer, but for now the system is clearly broken.

Lastly, while I still have an audience, I would like to bring attention to an alternative food and energy source. You won't see it included in BP's, "Feel good. We are working on sustainable solutions," television commercials, nor is it mentioned in ADM's similar commercials. But hemp has been used for at least 5,000 years for cloth and food, as well as just about everything that is produced from petroleum products. Hemp is not marijuana and vice versa. Hemp is the male plant and it grows like a weed, hence the slang term. The original American flag was made of hemp fiber and our Constitution was printed on paper made of hemp. It was used as recently as World War II by the U.S. Government, and then promptly made illegal after the war was won. At a time when rhetoric is flying about becoming more self-sufficient in terms of energy, why is it illegal to grow this plant in this country? Ah, the female. The evil female plant – marijuana. It gets you high, it makes you laugh, it does not produce a hangover. Unlike alcohol, it does not result in bar fights or wife beating. So, why is this innocuous plant illegal? Is it a gateway drug? No, that would be alcohol, which is so heavily advertised in this country. My only conclusion as to why it is illegal, is that Corporate America, which owns Congress, would rather sell you Paxil, Zoloft, Xanax and other additive drugs, than allow you to grow a plant in your home without some of the profits going into their coffers. This policy is ludicrous. It has surely contributed to our dependency on foreign energy sources. Our policies have other countries literally laughing at our stupidity, most notably Canada, as well as several European nations (both Eastern and Western). You would not know this by paying attention to U.S. media sources though, as they tend not to elaborate on who is laughing at the United States this week. Please people, let's stop the rhetoric and start thinking about how we can truly become self-sufficient.

With that I say good-bye and good luck.

All the best,

Andrew Lahde

Ralph Nader Crucifies AIPAC at 3rd Party Debates

Anti-Zionist Austrian politician Haider's widow believes death 'not an accident'

The widow of Joerg Haider believes the far-right Austrian politician's death in a car crash may not have been an accident and has saved his body from cremation for a second post mortem, a Vienna newspaper has reported.

By David Wroe in Berlin

Today cited senior members of Mr Haider's party as claiming that his widow Claudia had doubts about the official explanation of her husband's death and wanted a further examination by a coroner, possibly in Italy.

The paper suggested that Mr Haider's body was abruptly withdrawn from a planned cremation on Saturday. It said Mrs Haider feared her husband may have been drugged.

Theories that the charismatic politician, 58, was assassinated have simmered in Austria since the crash on Oct 11.

Party sources pointed to the fact that there were no tyre skid marks as evidence Mr Haider was unconscious when he crashed, Today said.

Last week, a Volkswagen spokesman said the speed at which Haider was driving – 88mph – although nearly double the speed limit, should ''not have been a problem for the car's physics'' on the curved road.

Mr Haider's car, a VW Phaeton, struck a pillar and flipped near the city of Klagenfurt. The governor of the state of Carinthia, was nearly four times over the legal blood alcohol limit.

Stefan Petzner, his protégé, has been linked to Haider romantically by Austrian media after Mr Petzner said: "We had a relationship that went far beyond friendship. Me and Jorg were connected by something truly special. He was the man of my life."

Mr Petzner briefly succeeded Mr Haider as leader of the Alliance for the Future of Austria but was sacked after his tearful revelation.

Mrs Haider declined to comment to the Austrian paper about the plan for a further post mortem. A spokesman for the party yesterday also refused to comment on the story to the Telegraph.

Mr Haider, who rose to notoriety in the late 1990s as leader of the far-right Freedom Party, died just days after his new party more than doubled its vote in Austria's national election.

Israeli Mossad Chief Meir Dagan killed in Jordan?

Some reports announced the assassination of Israeli Mossad chief Meir Dagan in the Jordan’s capital Amman

Based on a report by Terror Victims Information Base, the Israeli Mossad chief Meir Dagan has been killed in an explosion in the capital Amman, but there are some contradictory reports about the news, the Israeli FILKA website reported.

According to the report, he was targeted when he was moving from a villa in the national park to the residence of Jordan’s king Malek Abdullah II for holding a private visit.

Even if, Dagan has not been assassinated in the operation, there is a big failure for Mossad and Jordan and also a big victory for the attackers. How did the attackers find that Dagan was passing from the region or how did they were informed about the presence of Israeli Mossad chief Meir Dagan in Jordan

The Constitution Ours, the Statutes Theirs Part 1, by FranG

September 27th, 2008

Often much is made in the way of observing the laws of the land. But have you ever wondered what exactly is "law," and where exactly does it comes from? It is ironic that the intricacies of such a powerful force in our society is known by so few people. Hundreds upon hundreds of laws are passed each year at the federal and state levels, allegedly due to the increase in the population and complexity of society. In regards to the complexity of organizing and compiling the current laws of Illinois, the Legislative Reference Bureau states:

"The 1874 Revised Statues were the last official organization of the statutes prior to ILCS taking effect on January 1, 1993. That is a span of 119 years, from Presidents Grant through Bush and Governors Beveridge through Edgar. The world has changed more in those 119 years than probably any other period of history; and, as a consequence, the number and mass of statutory laws have exploded. The number of Acts has increased from 250 to approximately 2,000, the number of printed volumes from one (printed one column per page) to 6 (printed two columns per page) in the 1991 edition of the Revised Statutes."

I think all would agree that when the gap between the complexity and the level of understanding of a subject increases, so too does the potential for misinterpretation of that subject increase. Also, because the laws are administered by only a few individuals, who presumably understand the subject, the potential for those individuals to defraud the individuals who do not understand the subject is equally as great. Thus, it is the attempt of this writing to narrow the gap of understanding of the law between those who administer it, and those who are subject to their obedience.

Constitution is the Source of All Law

The Constitution of the United States is the Supreme Law of the Land. For the areas of regulation untouched by the federal constitution is the constitution of the several States. Unlike the laws of the United States, and those of the several States, the constitutions are very short documents and are easy to comprehend. They are established by the people of the states, and all laws that stem from them must be harmonious with them to be binding on the people-at-large.

Unlike the constitutions, the laws of the land are written by lawyers. Lawyers are those well versed in the subject of law, and represent a subset of the population-at-large. Unfortunately when lawyers write laws, they are not written for the layman's understanding, but expressed in the language of the lawyers. In a perfect society where everyone is honest, this is not a problem as the only need for understanding the law would come from a violation of the federal or state constitution, which are understood by the layman. But with a complex society, you get complex people who will attempt to steal from you your life, liberty, and property.

Law Dictionaries and Statute Glossaries

In the United States, the language spoken by the mass of the people is English. Dictionaries attempt to provide meaning of the words used in the everyday vernacular of the people. As mentioned earlier, lawyers have a vernacular of their own, and thus law dictionaries have been created for those unfamiliar with the language. Common citizens when dealing with the law must consult these dictionaries or they will be lost in a web of legalese. Legislators are aware of this fact as well, and in writing laws often place a glossary section in the text to assist the layman with its interpretation. Accordingly, words which mean one thing in the common language of the people can mean something totally different in the language of a law or statute. It is of extreme importance to know that constitutions are written in the language of the common people of the land, and laws and statutes, which are written in the language of the lawyers, are subordinate to them.

Basic Terminology

Because we are first concerned with meanings that represent the community at large, we will look up various definitions in a general dictionary of the English language, specifically Merriam Webster Online.

law - 1 a (1): a binding custom or practice of a community : a rule of conduct or action prescribed or formally recognized as binding or enforced by a controlling authority (2): the whole body of such customs, practices, or rules (3): common law

From the above definition, we see that the law is merely the custom of the people, only that it is "binding" and "formal." We see here that the law should match our "customs," i.e., our "constitutions."

custom - 1 a: a usage or practice common to many or to a particular place or class or habitual with an individual b: long-established practice considered as unwritten law c: repeated practice d: the whole body of usages, practices, or conventions that regulate social life

Notice that the word common is used in both the definitions of law, and custom. Just for good measure, let's define common.

common - 1 a: of or relating to a community at large : public b: known to the community ...... 4 a: widespread , general <common knowledge> b: characterized by a lack of privilege or special status <common people> c: just satisfying accustomed criteria : elementary <common decency>

So it can be seen that the word common deals with the community as a whole. It follows then that the laws relating to the community-at-large, or the public, should be common laws. The customs of the people are the "unwritten law" of the land, however the constitutions are the outline for the written laws.

constitution
- 1: an established law or custom : ordinance 2 a: the physical makeup of the individual especially with respect to the health, strength, and appearance of the body (a hearty constitution) b: the structure, composition, physical makeup, or nature of something 3: the act of establishing, making, or setting up 4: the mode in which a state or society is organized ; especially : the manner in which sovereign power is distributed 5 a: the basic principles and laws of a nation, state, or social group that determine the powers and duties of the government and guarantee certain rights to the people in it b: a written instrument embodying the rules of a political or social organization

So we can see that from the constitutions stem the various laws of the land. It should be noted however, that although the constitutions are documents dealing with common law, not all laws stemming from them pertain to common law principles. One may be tempted to suggest that any law other than a common law is unconstitutional, but such a suggestion would be flawed; as will be explained below.

China's Billionaires Lose a Third of Wealth in Credit Crisis

Plunging property and share prices knocked a third off the average wealth of China's billionaires in the first fall for seven years.

The 50 richest people in China were worth $2.43 billion (£1.4 billion) on average, down from $3.63 billion in 2007, according to an annual list from Hurun.

Back in first place, with a personal fortune of USD6.3 billion, was 39-year-old Huang Guangyu, nicknamed the Price Butcher because of the discounts available at Gome, his electrical retail empire. Mr Huang has topped the list three times in the last five years.

His elevation knocked Yang Huiyan, the 27-year-old heiress who was given a controlling stake in Country Garden, an enormous property developer, into third place.

Miss Yang saw her personal wealth plummet from $17.5billion to $4.9 billion as the share price of Country Garden nose-dived and jitters derailed the Chinese property boom.

Zhang Yin, the chairwoman of Nine Dragons Paper, who was the first woman to top the rich list in 2006, lost $8.4 billion after shares of her scrap paper company dropped by 86 per cent.

Two more property tycoons also suffered badly. Xu Rongmao, chairman of Shimao, lost $4.4 billion and Zhang Li, co-chairman of Guangzhou R&F properties, lost $3.6 billion.

China was home to 101 people with $1 billion or more of personal wealth, declining from 106 last year, according to Hurun.

The Bailout Smokescreen

Hank Paulson, extortionist extraordinaire

Sound American economics promoters have been pulling their hair out for years warning Americans of what is happening right now. What the mainstream economic "experts" and bankers call the "business cycle" is nothing more than the grinding of the economy up and down through compounded debt bubbles. These debt bubbles usually deflate into "recessions," but sometimes burst into "depressions." The sub-prime mortgage collapse is a perfect example of this.

Now the Congress, with this bailout-which was roundly rejected by the American people-has once again slapped the people in the face by passing it, even referring to it in genuine Orwellian fashion as "the Rescue Plan."

To imply that a few dozen of the richest individuals in this country (most of whom received multi-million dollar bonuses this last year) need to be given more of OUR money after losing all of theirs through bad business decisions is like saying O.J. Simpson didn't just go to jail today for kidnapping and armed robbery (because he did).

The most important factor, however, is that this "$700 billion" number is a smokescreen. As of the week before the bailout was first rejected by the House, the Federal Reserve had already lent out over a TRILLION dollars to failing lenders. This is two weeks ago now. The number has shot up since then...

So while we've been bitching and moaning about this "bailout" in Congress, the Fed has already surpassed their obscene price tag in spades.

Please understand what is happening right now: the rats are scurrying from the burning and sinking ship of our economy. This is completely preplanned, as one of the few things standing between total world domination and the New World Order are these united States, and our super-power status. This status served the NWO well for decades, but our usefulness to their nefarious purposes has expired, I'm afraid. Now they are ready for their one world government-itching for it-and we must be turned into a third world nation before all can be set in place.
Those whose "credit" has been falsely propping up our economy are now taking their bonuses and splitting town, under the auspices of bad decisions and bankruptcy.

Will Elections Be Suspended?

John McCain Bushing it up...

A couple weeks ago, when this bailout business first came to light, John McCain (the POW who willingly propagandized for the Viet Cong, and blocked the search for MIA's and POW's known to still be in Vietnam) said he would suspend his election campaign until this whole bailout thing got "straightened out." Well, they've straightened it out, alright...

"It's only there trying to fool the public,
but when it comes down to fooling you,
now honey that's quite a different subject..."
---Smokey Robinson

Was this a test for the suspension of the upcoming presidential election? I mean, a judge just ordered Barack Hussein Obama to hand over his birth certificate in order to prove he was born in the united States. McCain's about to keel over, and Bush seems to be relaxed and quasi-fluent for the first time in his presidency (sort of...).

War with Iran?

The Iranian Army is ready to defend its homeland, in contrast to the untrained and under-supplied Iraqis

After the events of the past few months, including the Georgian/South Ossetian/Russian War, and now the Wall Street Bailout-both of which received piles of media attention-I have to take a step back and try to peer through the smoke of battle. Is there anything being hidden behind that smoke, or is the bailout the real news?

War is on the move. The U.S. sent a supposed "aid ship" in the form of a Navy combat vessel to the Georgian coast, in an obvious provocation to the Russians. The Russians replied by threatening back.

The U.S. and Israel both were involved behind the scenes of the Georgian War. Iran is not intimidated by the U.S. at all. Is anyone else seeing the buildup here? Georgia is a perfect position to occupy prior to an invasion of Iran, and we have been aiding, advising and arming the Georgians since 2003.

I suppose only time will tell... We've been waiting for the imminent invasion of Iran for about two years now, and either the war hawks are intimidated by the response of the American people, or their plans have gone awry. I can think of no other explanation--they couldn't possibly care about the fact that we have no money and our military is dangerously and hopelessly over-extended globally. Watch for a false flag attack in the near future. I think they're too afraid at this point to take out a whole city with a nuke, but this financial terrorism can only be interpreted as an introductory phase for worse terrorism to come, and may be correctly interpreted as a false flag attack itself.

We Must Stop the Bailout

Activists (including city council members) Challenge LA Mayor's Expensive June Junket to Israel

Mayor of Los Angeles wants to hand over security of Port and LAX to the Israeli false flag kings

By Pat and Samir Twair – Southern California Chronicle Sept-Oct 2008

HISTORY WAS made June 25 in Los Angeles City Council chambers when 16 citizens protested the $225,000 purported public relations junket Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa made to Israel in mid-June. In tow were three other council members, Dennis Zine, Jack Weiss and Wendy Greuel, as well as a gaggle of children, spouses and other city officials.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa

While it’s nothing new for Mayor Villaraigosa to travel, this time his trip was to launch agreements with the Israeli government on water conservation and security of Los Angeles’s port and international airport. This set a precedent for the nation’s second largest city to contemplate granting a foreign power control over its sensitive ports of entry.

The expensive junket also hit a sensitive public nerve. Los Angeles Times columnist Steve Lopez criticized the trip as Villaraigosa pandering to win Jewish votes in the next election. Newspaper editorials voiced cynical objections, as did local radio talk show hosts.

The City Council was broadsided June 25 when polite dissidents stood up one at a time during the public comment session to protest the council’s negotiating with a foreign power before seeking bids from American security services.

As council members largely ignored the testimonies by talking on cell phones or drifting in and out of the chamber, Greta Berlin of Women In Black admonished the city officials:

“Please put down your phones and listen to what I have to say. I’ve witnessed what Israel does at its airport in the name of security. My 80-year-old Holocaust survivor friend was subjected to a cavity body search and I was detained and interrogated for eight hours because both of us advocate justice for the Palestinians. Now our mayor wants Israeli security to turn LAX into this apartheid system where Jews, dignitaries and the rich stand in one line and everyone else in the other line?”

Averred Lillian Laskin of Democratic Westside Progressives: “There are plenty of security consultants in the U.S. to secure our ports without seeking advice from Israel, which has a murky reputation on human rights and labor relations.”

Marcy Winograd, co-founder of L.A. Jews for Peace, wondered: “Why is it these security agreements you signed are making me increasingly insecure? Is it because these consulting agreements are really just a foot in the door to more extensive security agreements with a foreign power implicated in espionage scandals?”

Jeremy Rothe-Kushel questioned the efficacy of Israeli security firms, pointing out that Israeli firms were in charge of security at Logan Airport in Boston and the Newark airport on Sept. 11, 2001, when the terrorists were allowed to board the doomed passenger planes.

Human rights attorney Patricia Barry dropped a bombshell when she stated that federal regulations and the L.A. City Charter probably will pre-empt any agreements Villaraigosa and other council members signed.

“Section 370 of the City Charter stipulates the principle of competition,” she explained, “and that all contracts exceeding $1,000 must have bids from vendors. The mayor excluded this and arbitrarily gave the security contract for our port and LAX without asking for bids from local vendors.”

At the close of the proceedings, Councilman Zine insisted on addressing the dissenters before they left the chambers.

“I paid for some of my trip and it wasn’t a junket,” said the councilman, who described himself as an ex-cop of Lebanese Christian heritage. “We did go to Bethlehem and we did talk to some Arabs.”

However, although in June 2007 Zine led a city council delegation to Lebanon for a Sister City ceremony between Los Angeles and Beirut, he has yet to condemn Israel’s 2006 blanket bombing of southern Lebanon.

Peter Thottam, one of the June 25 speakers, plans to research just who Zine’s political backers are. Carol Smith of the National Lawyers Guild is researching documents to verify if there was a misuse of L.A. Department of Water and Power, international airport and port funds to finance the costly trip.

So, Mr. Mayor, just why are you letting MOSSAD ops roam freely about your airport?

Temporary Wizard of Oswald Site Up and Running

Due to the fact that I'm paying for the hosting of www.wizardofoswald.com, I figured I should be using it. So I have a news page, a page with my writings, and a video page up, all which are being updated daily in a format much more compatible to reference than a blog.
In the next day or two, there will be featured stories written by me and other truth seekers I know on the home page. Please feel free to submit stories you have written, and after review, they'll be posted on the home page.
At this point I'm going to just add forums to the html site, gradually building a highly personalized new interactive PHP site, which of course will take a little longer to finish. I'm having problems with the PHP site I've already built, which I tried to change from the actionwars.com site I'd already built but never used. So I'm going to toss that site, re-learn Dreamweaver (to program HTML and PHP), and build a cool html site until the PHP site is ready.
But we can get started with the PHPbb forums. I'll post another blog here in a couple days when the forums are ready, and of course send out a mass email.
Thanks for your patience - you know how it is...

MSM Propagandists Joe Scarborough & Mika Brzezinski meet We Are Change

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough broke a We Are Change camera phone after losing patience with questions directed his way about 9/11 truth.

Scarborough was accompanied by co-host and fellow “mainstream propagandist” Mika Brzezinski, who was met with statements introducing her to the surrounding crowd: “This is Mika Brzezinski. Her dad started al Qaeda.” Scarborough piped up, “Is that what they say?” “That is really what they say,” We Are Change members responded.

Joe Scarborough roundly dismissed and refused to answer to why he and other MSM pundits have conflated 9/11 Truthers with terrorists. Scarborough himself called for Truthers to be tasered after Bill Clinton was confronted during a speech. One of his co-host then added: “hopefully taken to one of those secret prisons in eastern Europe and never to be heard from again… I hope we have a special prison for 9/11 conspiracy theorists.”

Moments later, Scarborough was questioned again after he and Brzezinski thought they had escaped the crowd.

Matt Lepacek posed a question about WTC7’s unexplainable collapse inside the building, and Scarborough simply talked down to him, feigning some fake response about baseball before slapping down the iPhone camera Lepacek was holding. Apparently, the media not only won’t report the facts, but don’t take well to questions either.

The camera, worth approximately $500, fell beneath the elevator and was only later recovered with the help of the building staff. Though the memory card and footage was intact, the screen was shattered. Scarborough walked away, leaving Mika Brzezinski in the elevator.

House Says "Blow Me" to the Wall Street Bailout

House rejects financial bailout bill

By Jay Fitzgerald
Monday, September 29, 2008 -

The U.S. House today rejected an historic $700 billion bailout of Wall Street despite legislative leaders’ appeals to rank-and-file members that the bill was needed to save the U.S. economy from possible catastrophe.

The Dow immediately plunged as investors watched the dramatic House vote on television, but recovered a bit after the stunning developments.

After more than three hours of debate, the legislation was rejected by a 228-205 final vote.

Democrats provided the bulk of the votes for the bill, but Republicans reportedly couldn’t round up enough votes from their side.

“We must protect Main Street,” said U.S. Rep. Ed Markey (D-Malden), echoing the sentiments of others who said they disliked having to pass the bill but felt they had no choice to vote for it to avert economic disaster.

U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Newton), a key negotiator as chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, appealed to fellow liberals to vote for the package, despite reservations that it doens’t do enough for the poor.

The poor will “get nothing” if no compromise package was approved, said Frank, insisting Democrats did everything they could to protect taxpapyers and lower-income people in the bill.

Leading Republicans, who faced a mini-revolt within their ranks over the wisdom of the federal government interfering in the markets, also appealed for bi-partisan votes.

“The American people are angry,” acknowledged U.S. Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio).

But the “imperfect” bill - which authorized the Treasury to buy up billions of dollars in bad subprime-mortgage debt from reeling Wall Street firms - was better than not acting at all and risking a financial-system meltdown, said Boehner.

Rejection of the bill came only a day after the White House and congressional leaders reached a dramatic, tentative agreement after days of grueling negotiations.

Earlier today, President George Bush kept the pressure on lawmakers to pass the bill, which he said was needed to keep the nation’s financial system from seizing up and harming the economy as a whole.

Fringe ultra-Orthodox anti-Zionist group meets with Iranian president following his controversial UN speech. Delegation's Rabbi Weiss: "We know he is not an enemy to the Jews, he has a Jewish community in his country that he honors, defends and supports."

After his virulently an anti-Zionist speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday drew reactions the world over, a group of Neturei Karta rabbis met in Manhattan on Wednesday with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Neturei Karta is a fringe ultra-Orthodox group formally created in 1935, that opposes Zionism and calls for the dismantling of the State of Israel on the grounds that they believe Jews are forbidden to have their own state until the coming of the Messiah.

During the meeting members of the delegation presented the Iranian president with a $700 silver trophy as a sign of friendship.

Rabbi Yisroel David Weiss, who took part in the meeting, told Ynet the encounter was "very successful" and was conducted in a warm and friendly environment.

Not against Jews, against Zionists

Rabbi Weiss said the delegation thanked Ahmadinejad for his positive treatment of Iran's Jewish community.

"We know he is not an enemy to the Jews, he has a Jewish community in his country that he honors, defends and supports."

The rabbis added that Ahmadinejad "is not against the Jews, but against the Zionist regime."

The difference between Zionism and Judaism was discussed in the meeting as well.

Explaining the common thread between Neturei Karta and Ahmadinejad, Rabbi Weiss said, "The Iranian President understands the difference and understands that not everyone bears the Zionist outlook.

"Not everyone wants to see the destruction of Judaism and participate in the Zionist infidelity but rather solely to pray and hope for the end of the State of Israel," he said.

According to the rabbi, the Iranian president does not deny the Jewish Holocaust, but rather resists what he calls Zionist invasion and occupation of the land of Israel and the suffering caused to the Palestinians. "The Zionists use the Holocaust as an excuse for their crimes," said Weiss.

Close ties

According to him, there are also Jews who are loyal to the Torah and against Zionism for its denial of God.

"Ahmadinejad, like us, understands the difference between Judaism and Zionism," claimed Rabbi Weiss who emphasized that the Iranian president is not looking for ways to bomb Israel.

"It is the complete opposite; he wants peace and not to destroy the Jewish nation, that's what he explained to us. He is against the difficulties generated by the Zionist nation against the Palestinians," he said.

The Neturei Karta representative responded to The Neturei Karta representative responded to President Shimon Peres' comments, "Throughout the generations, God told us that the Torah is our protection.

"Due to the Zionist leadership's denial of the Torah and diversion from its path, the warnings written in it are being ignored. This is likely to bring the Jewish nation to catastrophic outcomes as we see today and this is what we are fighting against," said Rabbi Weiss.

Dr. Ron Paul: "There Goes Your Country"

This is Dr. Paul at his most visceral. I've been reading Ron Paul's writings and watching his speeches since about 2001, and I've never seen or read anything this angry, with just cause. This is a must read:

Dear Friends,

Whenever a Great Bipartisan Consensus is announced, and a compliant media assures everyone that the wondrous actions of our wise leaders are being taken for our own good, you can know with absolute certainty that disaster is about to strike.

The events of the past week are no exception.

The bailout package that is about to be rammed down Congress' throat is not just economically foolish. It is downright sinister. It makes a mockery of our Constitution, which our leaders should never again bother pretending is still in effect. It promises the American people a never-ending nightmare of ever-greater debt liabilities they will have to shoulder. Two weeks ago, financial analyst Jim Rogers said the bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made America more communist than China! "This is welfare for the rich," he said. "This is socialism for the rich. It's bailing out the financiers, the banks, the Wall Streeters."

That describes the current bailout package to a T. And we're being told it's unavoidable.

The claim that the market caused all this is so staggeringly foolish that only politicians and the media could pretend to believe it. But that has become the conventional wisdom, with the desired result that those responsible for the credit bubble and its predictable consequences - predictable, that is, to those who understand sound, Austrian economics - are being let off the hook. The Federal Reserve System is actually positioning itself as the savior, rather than the culprit, in this mess!

• The Treasury Secretary is authorized to purchase up to $700 billion in mortgage-related assets at any one time. That means $700 billion is only the very beginning of what will hit us.

• Financial institutions are "designated as financial agents of the Government." This is the New Deal to end all New Deals.

• Then there's this: "Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency." Translation: the Secretary can buy up whatever junk debt he wants to, burden the American people with it, and be subject to no one in the process.

There goes your country.

Even some so-called free-market economists are calling all this "sadly necessary." Sad, yes. Necessary? Don't make me laugh.

Our one-party system is complicit in yet another crime against the American people. The two major party candidates for president themselves initially indicated their strong support for bailouts of this kind - another example of the big choice we're supposedly presented with this November: yes or yes. Now, with a backlash brewing, they're not quite sure what their views are. A sad display, really.

Although the present bailout package is almost certainly not the end of the political atrocities we'll witness in connection with the crisis, time is short. Congress may vote as soon as tomorrow. With a Rasmussen poll finding support for the bailout at an anemic seven percent, some members of Congress are afraid to vote for it. Call them! Let them hear from you! Tell them you will never vote for anyone who supports this atrocity.

The issue boils down to this: do we care about freedom? Do we care about responsibility and accountability? Do we care that our government and media have been bought and paid for? Do we care that average Americans are about to be looted in order to subsidize the fattest of cats on Wall Street and in government? Do we care?

When the chips are down, will we stand up and fight, even if it means standing up against every stripe of fashionable opinion in politics and the media?

Times like these have a way of telling us what kind of a people we are, and what kind of country we shall be.

In liberty,

Ron Paul

Battle Plan For the Fifty States, by Devvy Kidd

BATTLE PLAN FOR THE 50 STATES
PART 1 of 2

"The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite." – James Madison, "Federalist No. 45," Jan. 26, 1788

Last week, with the blessing of Bush and most of the U.S. Congress, the robber banker barons threw gasoline onto a bonfire. The financial Mt. Vesuvius hasn't blown yet, but it will, and what was done last week and most likely through today, will be horrific. America has crossed the Rubicon.

Rage continues to build across this country with good reason. It was building back in October, 2003, when I wrote my column, It's All Over Grab the Muskets. Change comes one city, one town, one county at a time. If you don't try, the bad guys win by default. Great success has come from groups and organizations all over this country on issues like Agenda 21 because all politics are local. We have two levels of government: federal and state. If the states of the Union do not step up to the plate come January and repel the destruction of their sovereignty by the federal machine, they will become nothing more than occupied territories.

The citizens of the states: Your time has come to either step up to the plate or submit to human bondage. I know that millions of caring, decent Americans are trying to fight this leviathan monster out of Washington, DC., but as time has shown, between a completely broken judicial system, rotten career politicians and ignorant, uninformed, disinterested and special interest group voters, we are losing ground. As we continue to see the shredding of the Bill of Rights, Americans are becoming more afraid of the federal government. Take this 13:23 minute video. Watch it. What you see are Americans who have invested time and money into making a short film because they see the real time danger facing this republic by a growing police state under the guise of "for our own good" agencies like the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Americans continue to see the brutality out there by paramiliarized law enforcement against we the people for exercising peaceful assembly. Years ago, I brought to readers attention the treason by darling of FAUX News, Oliver North:

"1987: Then U.S. Attorney General William French Smith blew the whistle on a fairly low ranking Marine officer by the name of Oliver North. According to Smith, Lt. Col. Oliver North directly helped draft a plan in 1984 to impose martial law in the United States in the event of an emergency. This secret plan would suspend the U.S. Constitution and turn over control of the government to the little known agency at that time: FEMA. This plan would appoint military commanders to run state and local governments. Implementation of this plan would have been triggered by violent and wise spread internal dissent, disagreement with government policy or national opposition to any U.S. military invasion abroad. Essentially, it amounted to a complete and total suspension of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights."

As we all saw with Katrina, the military was brought in and the inalienable rights of the American people were simply stomped on. In the same link above, I brought your attention to a look into the future regarding military control of the civilian population:

The next real war we fight is likely to be on American soil.
Our civilian-military face-off (November 30, 1997)

"One startling quote in this article is from Admiral Stanley Arthur, Commander of U.S. naval forces during the Gulf War, where he says, "Today the armed forces are no longer representative of the people they serve. More and more, enlisted as well as officers are beginning to feel they are special, better than the society they serve."

"When you turn to page two of this story, the headlines read, "Bill of Rights no obstacle for the Corps." Another disturbing quote jumps out at you, "Because of the rising potential for civil disobedience within the inner cities it is 'inevitable' the U.S. military will be employed more often within American borders."... Why the concern that there is a potential for civil disobedience by Americans? Where did this come from? .....

"Further into this shocking story: "...Major Reeves notes, when faced with violating doctrine or violating the law, some Marines chose the latter course and detained suspects and conducted warrant less searches. Indeed, with characteristic Marine Corps bluntness, the major states that, "in interviews with Marine officers involved in domestic peacekeeping missions with officers responsible for articulating the Marine Corps' policy on domestic peacekeeping, it became apparent to the author that Marines took whatever action was necessary. At times, these actions required Marines to violate U.S. law.

"Similarly, Marine Capt. Guy Miner reported in the Gazette that Marine intelligence units were initially worried by the need to collect intelligence on U.S. citizens, which would violate a 1981 Executive Order, but that "this inhibition was quickly overcome...." And to chill you even further, "To enable the Marines to execute these new domestic missions in the same way that they do abroad, Major Reeves calls for major alternations in U.S. laws. "Experience from the Los Angeles riots," he warns, "demonstrated the need to grant U.S. Marine forces the legal right to detain vehicles and suspects, conduct arrests, searches and seizures in order to accomplish the peacekeeping mission."

Go ahead, print out the newspaper and read it. If this doesn't give you the daytime version of pavor nocturnus, then you don't grasp the severity of the problem. We are seeing more and more domestic spying on Americans, no knock searches killing innocent people, warrant less searches on flimsy probably cause and 'civilian check points' on our roads and highways. The misnamed 'Patriot Act' continues to be abused by federal dragoons. This is NOT the America thousands spilled their blood for on the battle fields during the Revolutionary War.

In my last column, I once again covered the National ID and it's real purpose. Coming on the heels of this massive financial melt down that will only get WORSE going into next year, consider this headline:

Brigade homeland tours start Oct. 1

"3rd Infantry’s 1st BCT trains for a new dwell-time mission. Helping ‘people at home’ may become a permanent part of the active Army.

"They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack."

It all sounds quite innocent with the mission of "helping" Americans. Just like Katrina. Benevolent mother government. Until you remember the plan Oliver North drew up and the previously mentioned blue print for the Marines to inject themselves into the civilian sector. All triggered by "violent and wise spread internal dissent, disagreement with government policy or national opposition to any U.S. military invasion abroad" or "rising potential for civil disobedience within the inner cities it is 'inevitable' the U.S. military will be employed more often within American borders."

A substantial number of Americans believe this is a gross misuse of our military under The Posse Comitatus Act, a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 16, 1878, prohibiting most members of the federal uniformed services (the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement police or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states, their counties and municipal divisions). In other words, the PCA limited to a great degree the powers of the federal government to use active military for law enforcement.

There have been more laws enacted by Congress over the years explicitly allowing the military to be used in certain domestic scenarios. Legal hawks say the most significant is the 'Military Support for Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies Act of 1981 (“MSCLEA”), the purpose of which is to allow the exchange of information and services between military and law enforcement "when necessary" to protect the people and interests of the United States.

Major Craig T. Trebilcock, U.S. Army Reserve, penned a paper titled, 'The Myth of Posse Comitatus', in October 2000, where he said: "Is the Posse Comitatus Act totally without meaning today? No, it remains a deterrent to prevent the unauthorized deployment of troops at the local level in response to what is purely a civilian law enforcement matter."

Really? Did you forget New Orleans and WACO, Major Trebilcock? His paper was a justification for use of military within the states of the Union for "domestic terrorism."

It is far too easy for these types of laws to end up being used against the civilian population as evidenced by the rise of Adolph Hitler. For an excellent overview of how Hitler took power, mirroring what we have seen the past seven years, see here.

As I said earlier, the rage has been growing exponentially over the past two decades as government becomes more oppressive and now with these monstrous bail outs, looting and pillaging we the people until we end up in rags, the people are really getting steamed:

Mad as hell - taxpayers lash out
We asked you what you had to say about the bailout, and we heard you loud and clear: 'No way!'

"NO NO NO. Not just no, but HELL NO," writes Richard, a reader from Anchorage, Alaska. "This is robbery pure and simple," Anna from Denver posted on CNNMoney.com's TalkBack blog this weekend. "It's our money! Let these companies die," added Claudio from Plainville, Conn." For part two click below.

Astronaut Geophysicist says: "Sorry to ruin the fun, but an ice age cometh"

Sorry to ruin the fun, but an ice age cometh

Phil Chapman | April 23, 2008

THE scariest photo I have seen on the internet is www.spaceweather.com, where you will find a real-time image of the sun from the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory, located in deep space at the equilibrium point between solar and terrestrial gravity.

What is scary about the picture is that there is only one tiny sunspot.

Disconcerting as it may be to true believers in global warming, the average temperature on Earth has remained steady or slowly declined during the past decade, despite the continued increase in the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide, and now the global temperature is falling precipitously.

All four agencies that track Earth's temperature (the Hadley Climate Research Unit in Britain, the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York, the Christy group at the University of Alabama, and Remote Sensing Systems Inc in California) report that it cooled by about 0.7C in 2007. This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record and it puts us back where we were in 1930. If the temperature does not soon recover, we will have to conclude that global warming is over.

There is also plenty of anecdotal evidence that 2007 was exceptionally cold. It snowed in Baghdad for the first time in centuries, the winter in China was simply terrible and the extent of Antarctic sea ice in the austral winter was the greatest on record since James Cook discovered the place in 1770.

It is generally not possible to draw conclusions about climatic trends from events in a single year, so I would normally dismiss this cold snap as transient, pending what happens in the next few years.

This is where SOHO comes in. The sunspot number follows a cycle of somewhat variable length, averaging 11 years. The most recent minimum was in March last year. The new cycle, No.24, was supposed to start soon after that, with a gradual build-up in sunspot numbers.

It didn't happen. The first sunspot appeared in January this year and lasted only two days. A tiny spot appeared last Monday but vanished within 24 hours. Another little spot appeared this Monday. Pray that there will be many more, and soon.

The reason this matters is that there is a close correlation between variations in the sunspot cycle and Earth's climate. The previous time a cycle was delayed like this was in the Dalton Minimum, an especially cold period that lasted several decades from 1790.

Northern winters became ferocious: in particular, the rout of Napoleon's Grand Army during the retreat from Moscow in 1812 was at least partly due to the lack of sunspots.

That the rapid temperature decline in 2007 coincided with the failure of cycle No.24 to begin on schedule is not proof of a causal connection but it is cause for concern.

It is time to put aside the global warming dogma, at least to begin contingency planning about what to do if we are moving into another little ice age, similar to the one that lasted from 1100 to 1850.

There is no doubt that the next little ice age would be much worse than the previous one and much more harmful than anything warming may do. There are many more people now and we have become dependent on a few temperate agricultural areas, especially in the US and Canada. Global warming would increase agricultural output, but global cooling will decrease it.

Millions will starve if we do nothing to prepare for it (such as planning changes in agriculture to compensate), and millions more will die from cold-related diseases.

There is also another possibility, remote but much more serious. The Greenland and Antarctic ice cores and other evidence show that for the past several million years, severe glaciation has almost always afflicted our planet.

The bleak truth is that, under normal conditions, most of North America and Europe are buried under about 1.5km of ice. This bitterly frigid climate is interrupted occasionally by brief warm interglacials, typically lasting less than 10,000 years.

The interglacial we have enjoyed throughout recorded human history, called the Holocene, began 11,000 years ago, so the ice is overdue. We also know that glaciation can occur quickly: the required decline in global temperature is about 12C and it can happen in 20 years.

The next descent into an ice age is inevitable but may not happen for another 1000 years. On the other hand, it must be noted that the cooling in 2007 was even faster than in typical glacial transitions. If it continued for 20 years, the temperature would be 14C cooler in 2027.

By then, most of the advanced nations would have ceased to exist, vanishing under the ice, and the rest of the world would be faced with a catastrophe beyond imagining.

Australia may escape total annihilation but would surely be overrun by millions of refugees. Once the glaciation starts, it will last 1000 centuries, an incomprehensible stretch of time.

If the ice age is coming, there is a small chance that we could prevent or at least delay the transition, if we are prepared to take action soon enough and on a large enough scale.

For example: We could gather all the bulldozers in the world and use them to dirty the snow in Canada and Siberia in the hope of reducing the reflectance so as to absorb more warmth from the sun.

We also may be able to release enormous floods of methane (a potent greenhouse gas) from the hydrates under the Arctic permafrost and on the continental shelves, perhaps using nuclear weapons to destabilise the deposits.

We cannot really know, but my guess is that the odds are at least 50-50 that we will see significant cooling rather than warming in coming decades.

The probability that we are witnessing the onset of a real ice age is much less, perhaps one in 500, but not totally negligible.

All those urging action to curb global warming need to take off the blinkers and give some thought to what we should do if we are facing global cooling instead.

It will be difficult for people to face the truth when their reputations, careers, government grants or hopes for social change depend on global warming, but the fate of civilisation may be at stake.

In the famous words of Oliver Cromwell, "I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you may be mistaken."

WizardofOswald.com coming very soon

Greetings...
As a quick note, the new site is built, but I'm having problems actually getting the site up. There are people working on it besides just me, and my new hosting company has pretty decent tech support, although I got left on hold for twenty minutes the other day and finally had to hang up. I'm just very busy, and I'm well aware of the graphic and interface side of the internet, but not so savvy with the database and programming side. I do know some programming, but I'm lost on databases. I'm in the process of learning about them right now, since that's the problem I'm having at the moment.
So please be patient. The most open forum on the internet will be up and running soon. I and a couple others will moderate the forums, but only to the point of deleting spam or porn. If you wish to discuss porn or spam, feel free of course... haha just don't post any of it. It's not that I'll be running a family site-it's that spam and porn disgust me.
Anyhoo...
Please be patient. I have a splash screen up at www.wizardofoswald.com, and from now until the site is ready I'll be randomly adding funny/controversial/political type photos and quotes there. So keep checking in. I can tell alot of you have been going there (pay no attention to the man behind the curtain-he has google analytics... hehe). Keep checking in. It could be up any day now. The bastards are closing in, but "there's many a slip 'twixt a cup and a lip..."

U.S. Military Opposes War

U.S. MILITARY OPPOSES WAR

Defense Secretary Robert Gates, military brass may be roadblock to neo-con dream of global war

By James P. Tucker Jr.

A few brave patriots in high places are fighting to avoid an invasion of Iran and destruction of the Constitution in the four months left of the reign of President Bush. They do so at great personal risk.

Congress, under both Republican and Democratic control, has given Bush the power to usurp the Constitution and remain in power after Jan. 20, 2009. There is fear in high places that the power-mad administration may do so.

Immediately after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Bush issued his “Declaration of Emergency by Reason of Certain Terrorist Attacks” under authority of the National Emergencies Act. This declaration, which could be rescinded by a joint resolution of Congress, has instead been extended and expanded.

In 2007, the declaration was strengthened with the issuance of the National Security Presidential Directive 5, which gave Bush the power to do whatever he decides is necessary in a “catastrophic emergency”—including canceling elections and suspending the Constitution. His constant threats to bomb Iran on behalf of Israel concern these patriots. Military chiefs who oppose attacking Iran are “retired.”

Victims include Adm. William Fallon, commander of CENTCOM, and Vice Adm. John Stufflebeem, Sixth Fleet commander. In jeopardy is Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the joint Chiefs of Staff who went to Tel Aviv to warn Israel against staging another attack on an American ship in an attempt to blame it on Arabs or Persians and draw the U.S. into a Mideast war (AFP Aug. 11, 2008).

He was referring to Israel’s deliberate attack on the USS Liberty during the 1967 Six-Day War. It was an attempt to sink the ship and blame it on Arabs so America would enter the war on Israel’s side. Thirty-four Americans were brutally murdered.

J. Scott Carpenter, former deputy secretary of state for Near Eastern Affairs, said Vice President Dick Cheney pressed hard for air strikes against Iranian Revolutionary Guard bases last summer. He was deterred by Pentagon officials.

There is a grim struggle within the government. On one side are the war-mongering neo-cons who egged the country into the war in Iraq and envision a “new American century.”

They are opposed by the Republican Party Old Guard, led by Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who replaced the despised Donald Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld thought the invasion of Iraq would be a quick success with few troops and casualties by relying on new military toys. The war has dragged on for five years and the number of American combat deaths has reached 4,155 and counting.

Pedophile cop gets tasered resisting arrest

I am not posting this to laugh at the fact a cop is getting tasered. I'm posting this because perhaps people seeing a police detective crying like a little girl from getting tasered will show people how harmful and potentially lethal these things are.

House Votes 359-18 to end Mexican Trucking Pilot Program

Is the House finally starting to listen to the American people?

House votes to end access for Mexican trucks

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Dismissing a White House veto threat, the House voted Tuesday to end a pilot program giving Mexican trucks access to U.S. highways.

The Bush administration stressed that the United States is obligated, under the 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement, to open up American roads to Mexican truckers, and that terminating the year-old demonstration project would have repercussions for American trucks allowed into Mexico. Passage of the House bill, it said "would pose significant and immediate risks to U.S. interests."

But the pilot project, which permits up to 500 trucks from 100 Mexican companies access to U.S. roads, is opposed by trucking, consumer and environmental groups who say it would eliminate American jobs and that Mexican trucks are subject to less stringent safety regulations. They say Mexico lacks adequate drug testing and hours-of service standards and that the program could contribute to smuggling or insurance fraud.

"I'm outraged that the Bush administration for political purposes would jeopardize the safety of the traveling public in the United States," said Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore., chairman of the House Transportation subcommittee on highways.

The 395-18 House vote was well above the two-thirds needed to override a presidential veto. The bill would end the authority of the administration to go forward with the program without congressional approval. The Senate Appropriations Committee has attached similar language to a transportation spending bill, although that bill is unlikely to be enacted before President Bush leaves office.

Congress last December passed legislation banning funding to "establish" a program to allow U.S.-certified Mexican trucks to carry loads across the border, but the Transportation Department said that bill did not apply to a program that had already started. Several groups, including the Teamsters, Sierra Club and Public Citizen, have gone to federal court to challenge that interpretation.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, on the other hand, sent House members a letter urging opposition to the bill, saying the cross-border program "is a long overdue step toward reducing congestion and air pollution at the U.S.-Mexico border while promoting growth and jobs."

The administration last month said it intended to continue the pilot program for two more years.

Assault Against "Truth" Leaders Now in Full Swing

Site Owners Face Crackdown from Anonymous Sources
Brandon Dean
Thus Always To Tyrants
September 6th, 2008

In the summer of 2007, I and many others were active members of Prisonplanet.tv. It was the one un-moderated forum I've seen on the internet. In certain ways, it was a free-for-all. In other ways, it was the most open discussion I've seen on the internet. Most of the posters were there to learn or to teach, and although many who tried to "teach" might not have been qualified to be college professors, there wasn't as much bull shit as you might expect. I met quite a few individuals through the forums at prisonplanet.tv whom I still know and talk to, and even met FranG there, who I now consider a friend of mine. He's actually come to Los Angeles and we've met.
At the same time, there were, without a doubt, undercover agents, or "trolls," infiltrating the forums. I can say this without a doubt. I know because me and a few others actually found his real name. His moniker was "Ilegal" (sic). His real name is Alanis Kleber, and he is a Mexican Policeman, who apparently was sent to the US as part of an officer exchange program. This exchange could serve no other purpose than intergrating US and Mexican police to pre-empt the North American Union. This is especially poignant given that we caught him in the act. He would always attempt to lead any debate about the North American Union back to the "poor immigrants," rather than discussing the topic at hand. He used intentionally poor English (which I discovered when he sent me a violent and threatening private message in fully legible English). I publicly accused him of being a federal agent, along with others. We wouldn't relent, and finally he exploded on everyone when I posted a photo of him in full Mexican Police riot gear. That's when he PM'ed me and told me to take the photo down or I'd basically suffer the consequences. He told me straight out that I was right (that he was a cop), and I'd better calm down or he'd come "solve the situation." I didn't take the photo down until he quit as a member and went away. His threats were empty and I knew it. He was just some peon who was sitting in Washington DC (we'd found his IP address) taking orders from some peon above him. He probably couldn't even afford the plane fare to come out to the west coast and "solve the situation." And, well, I haven't heard from him since. Then again, I don't live where "they" think I live....
My point is that I know for a fact there are agents infiltrating the more popular "truth" sites, which attract anywhere from thousands to millions of hits a month. Alex Jones' network of websites has been attacked so many times he's been forced to get triple and quadruple backups for his sites.
A couple days ago I posted a blog from Rense.com, which is just as popular if not more than prisonplanet.com and infowars.com. Jeff Rense has a letter to his audience posted at the top of his news section right now titled "Rense.com Now Under Severe, Routine Attack."
From the article:

"We are being regularly hacked and taken down by the dark side. We cannot trace the exact point of origin but these are highest level ops...of that there is no question."

Tom Feely, the owner of Informationclearinghouse.com, had his wife threatened by armed thugs in his own kitchen. They threatened him and his whole family to stop exposing the New World Order, or else...
Luke Rudkowski, founding member of Wearechange.org, and others from Wearechange, have had death threats over the telephone, attempting to intimidate them into ending their ativities against the New World Order.

Call it a coincidence, but last year, after very vocally protesting the income tax via prisonplanet.tv, myspace.com, and other forums, the IRS attempted to audit me for the first time in my life. The problem for them is two-fold:
a) I have never filed an income tax return, and thus have never granted them legal jurisdiction over me, so they're fucked... :) And
b)They don't intimidate me in the least, and intimidation is the only way they've ever gotten money from anyone. Social intimidation, court-room intimidation, media intimidation...
So what did I do when they sent me three letters? I ignored them. I am not the "Brandon Dean" the corporate government views me as. I am not chattel property, and I am not a legal fiction. You see, I understand this, and that's the number one reason they will not pursue the matter.
Also last year, directly after publicly and vocally supporting Ed and Elaine Brown in their struggle against the IRS, all "Myspace friends" of Ed and Elaine, or Reno Gonzalez, were solicited by undercover agents in an attempt to "befriend" and infiltrate any plan or coordinated effort to free the Browns. I know this, of course, because the US marshal in charge of the Brown case told TV cameras that's what they were doing, and he specifically named Myspace as one of the ways they were "gathering surveillance."

The only reaction I have to all of this is humor. These futile attempts to stifle the truth are beyond humanity at this point, and they're fighting a hopelessl battle. Humanity is now ready for truth, and they will get it no matter what anyone does. Those who screamed the truth before others were ready to hear it will finally be vindicated in their efforts. Those who were once called fools will be looked upon as prophets and the founders of the new age.

Rense.com under severe, routine attack by high level operatives

Rense.com Now Under
Severe, Routine Attack
9-3-8

We are being regularly hacked and taken down by the dark side. We cannot trace the exact point of origin but these are highest level ops...of that there is no question. We are back up now and profoundly appreciate your support. No other world news service is being assaulted like this so we know rense.com and all those who support its Freedom of Speech and freedom of journalistic inquiry are directly on and over the target. Thank you for your kind emails and gracious patience. We ARE taking more steps to upgrade our security but the opposition is literally the top of the Westen power structure seeking to remake America in its image. Something I am dedicated to opposing to the last. - Jeff Rense
